CAPTAIN FALCON

The character of this week is captain falcon.

Captain Falcon (キャプテン・ファルコン Kyaputen Farukon), full name Douglas Jay Falcon, is a playable character in the racing video gameseries F-Zero. He first appeared in F-Zero, and has served as the poster boy/main protagonist of the F-Zero franchise. Nintendo first envisioned Captain Falcon as a flagship character to represent the release of a new console, but he ended up appearing far less than originally planned. In the games, he appears as mysterious racer and bounty hunter who is one of the best racers on the circuit. Falcon also represents the F-Zero franchise in all three games of the Super Smash Bros. series. Falcon is the hero of F-Zero GX, the fifth game in the series.
In the GP Legend continuity, writers portrayed Falcon differently than previous games; here, "Captain Falcon" is a title passed down and held by the best racer in the world. He owns and operates a small bar in Mute City, taking up the alias of Bart Lemming and aiding fellow protagonist Rick Wheeler both secretly, and in disguise.
ANIME

In the anime F-Zero GP Legend, Captain Falcon is a title given to a person, instead of an individual's actual name.[15] Captain Falcon was originally Andy Summer, the brother of Jody Summer, who apparently died in a vicious attack revolving around Zoda. Andy took the false identity of "Bart Lemming" and eventually became Captain Falcon to participate in the F-Zero races. In the anime, Falcon is rather quiet and speaks very rarely. When he takes the name of Bart, he usually gives advice to the other characters at his cafe. Although he isn't featured in every episode, Falcon plays a significant role in the series, often stopping the Dark Million Organization's illegal plans. During the end of the series, Falcon is thrown into an explosion alongside his sworn enemy, Black Shadow, and displays his powers in the form of a fire-based "Falcon Punch" to ensure that Black Shadow does not escape, at the cost of his own life which destroys part of the galaxy. He quickly gives Ryu Suzaku the title of Falcon before dying, having implied that the title of "Captain Falcon" is now meant to be hereditary, transmitted along the generations. The character is voiced by Hideyuki Tanaka and David Wills in the Japanese and English versions respectively.

Special Moves
 Falcon Punch
Captain Falcon's neutral move, and probably the most famous is the Falcon Punch. Its a rather slow starting attack which does leave Captain Falcon open to attack, however once it lets go, a powerful punch surrounded by a Falcon of Fire is sent out in a short area easily decimating anyone in its waySpecial Move - Neutral
 Raptor Boost
Captain Falcon's side move is a fast running upper cut. It will send your enemies up allowing you to get in some aerial hits. If you use it in mid air, you will be able to essentially hop over your opponent after hitting them so that you keep goingSpecial Move - Side
 Falcon Dive
Captain Falcon's recovery move normally is just a somersault in order to propel you further. However, if you come into contact with an enemy while utilising it, Captain Falcon will grab the enemy and they will be set on fire and thrown backwardsSpecial Move - Up
 Falcon Kick
Captain Falcon's down attack is a kick in the same manner as his punch. Captain Falcon will move in the direction he's facing with a flaming kick that will do good damage to the foes and knock them back a bit. It's very handy when coming down on your opponent from above.Special Move - Down
Final Smash
 Blue Falcon
Captain Falcon's final smash is almost a guaranteed Knock Out. Captain Falcon's Racer the Blue Falcon drives past and he jumps into it. Meanwhile, the nearby opponents are dropped into the middle of an F-Zero Race Track and the Blue Falcon goes towards them at tremendous speeds which send the opponents flying off of the course resulting in a loss of stock
